SGL+
An Enterprise plug-in that triggers an InDesign Server (IDS) job to create high resolution previews, for Content Station, and PDF files when the produce option is enabled for the status. Disables client side preview and PDF generation, reducing check in time.

Configuration
• Copy SGLPlus directory to Enterprise/config/plugins/
• Created a metadata field called 'SGLP_STATE' of type 'String'
• Modify /SGLPlus/config.php to set:
• Enterprise server (must match wwsettings.xml)
• Enterprise login and password (used account woodwing) *Change required*
• Additional settings for operation (see config file comments for full explanation)
• Modified configserver.php
• Set new Feature( 'PagePreviewResolution', 300) to enable high resolution previews in
Content Station
• Set new Feature( 'CreatePagePDFOnProduce' , '[FryPDF]' ) to use MTG joboptions file. This
file must be stored in /Library/Application Support/Adobe/Adobe PDF/Settings and referenced inside square brackets

Testing
• Checked in several multi-page layouts
• IDS processed the jobs without error
• Publication Overview is using high resolution previews
• PDF files using the FryPDF joboption available for download from Publication Overview
Monitoring and on-going maintenance
• Use Server Plug-ins in the admin interface to see status and enable/disable. Note that if SGL + is disabled, local workstations will create previews and PDFs
• wwtest has an additional test called SGLPlus configuration test
• In the admin interface you can monitor the incoming IDS jobs as users check-in layouts.

PDFsave
For a given layout, merges single page PDF files created by the Produce option a single multi- page PDF. Assigns PDF to the parent dossier of the layout and a dossier created for each issue named PDF_issuename.
Configuration
• Copy Libraries directory to files to Enterprise/config/
• Copy PDFsave directory to Enterprise/config/plugins/
• Create dossier status PDF Collection.
• Create image status Preview PDF (Sort to last of status so it is not in the regular workflow).
• Ensure webserver has access to both directories
• Modify /PDFSave/config.php to set
• Additional settings for operation (see config file comments for full explanation)

Testing
• Checked in multi-page layout
• Multi-page PDF file created
• PDF available in parent dossier of layout and issue dossier

SmartMover Task: PDFtoFTP
Triggered by layout status, the single page PDFs created by the Produce option are downloaded and transfered by FTP to Fry Printing.

Configuration
• Create new layout status FryPDF - Sent
• Create Smart Mover process PDFtoFTP
• Add task Enterprise Download
• Log into Enterprise server using account woodwing *Change required*
• Build Enterprise query with “Custom - Smart Mover" to find all layouts with status

FryPDF
• Include Output file (disable Native file)
• Set download folder to FTPtoFry
• Enable Set Status to Next (this sets the layout status to FryPDF - Sent)
• Add task FTP Put Files
• Set Fry FTP details
• Select location directory as FTPtoFry
• Enable Delete Original File after FTP Put

Testing
• Checked in multi page layout to status FryPDF
• Manually triggered Smart Mover process
• Multiple PDF files were downloaded to the FTPtoFry directory
• Layout status changed to FryPDF - Sent
• FTP Send yet to be tested, pending co-ordination with Fry

• Any brands using this process must have the FryPDF - Sent status
• Standard monitoring and logging in Smart Mover Manager applies
SmartMover Task: DropboxImageWorkflow
Triggered by status, images are checked-out and downloaded to a Dropbox account folder. A second folder is monitored for updated image files and uploaded back into Enterprise as a new version.

Configuration
• Install Dropbox client on Smart Mover server and connect to account sdelmont@mtgmediagroup.com
• Set ImageWorkflow folder to sync with local disk
• Create Smart Mover process DropboxImageWorkflow
• Create process folder in Base Path
• Create aliases from Dropbox folders, CheckedOut and CheckIn to process folder,
• Add task Enterprise Check Out-In
• Log into Enterprise server using account woodwing *Change required*
• Build Enterprise query with “Custom - Smart Mover" to find all images with status
Image Send to Corrections
• Enable Check Out Object
• Enable Set Status to Next
• Set destination folder to CheckedOut alias • Set source folder to CheckIn alias
• Enable Set Status to Next

Testing
• Set image to status Image Send to Corrections
• Manually trigger Smart Mover process
• Image is available in Dropbox CheckedOut folder
• Image has changed status to Image Out for Corrections
• Move image to CheckIn folder
• Manually trigger Smart Mover process
• Image is uploaded to Enterprise and deleted from CheckIn folder
• Image status has changed to Image Back from Corrections

Monitoring and on-going maintenance
• Any brands using this process must have the image statuses Image Send to Corrections, Image Out for Corrections, Image Back from Corrections
• Dropbox does not have a download and delete option so it may be worthwhile to set a clean-up task to delete old files from the CheckedOut folder if it starts to fill up
• Standard monitoring and logging in Smart Mover Manager applies
